By creating an account you enter a binding agreement with Zimbabwe Marketplace ("we", "the platform"). The platform is a classifieds marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to transactions between users. You must provide accurate registration details and keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may update these terms. Continued use after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
You agree to use the platform lawfully and in good faith. The following are strictly prohibited: • Fraud, scams, misrepresentation, or fake listings • Impersonation, stolen goods, or illegal products and services • Harassment, hate speech, or abusive conduct toward other users • Circumventing verification, reviews, or safety features • Spam, automated scraping, or attempts to disrupt the service We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice, and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
Unless we explicitly offer a protected payment product, transactions are between buyer and seller. Zimbabwe Marketplace does not hold funds, guarantee delivery, or process refunds on behalf of users. • Inspect goods or services before you pay whenever possible • Prefer verified sellers with good star ratings and reviews • Never send money to strangers without reasonable assurance • Disputes over quality, delivery, or refunds must be resolved directly between buyer and seller Any platform fees (e.g. promotions) are disclosed before purchase and are non-refundable except where required by law.
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We strive for reliable uptime and accurate listings but do not warrant uninterrupted service or the accuracy of user-generated content. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, or business reasons. We are not liable for losses arising from user transactions, network outages, or third-party services (including WhatsApp or payment providers).
Contact details you share in listings or messages may be visible to other users. Use WhatsApp and phone contact responsibly. We may send service emails (verification codes, security alerts, account notices). Marketing messages, where sent, will follow applicable consent rules.
